<span id="more-105"></span>Domestic airlines have daily flights from Jakarta. Rajabasa bus terminal is one of the busiest terminals in Sumatra, with a constant stream of departures. The journey from Jakarta takes eight hours, including crossing the Sunda Strait between Java and the Peacock in Lampung Bakaheuni by ferry. Three trains a day run from Palembang.</p>

Krakatau Festival. This annual event was held at the end of 25-30 August 2008, the festival commemorating the eruption of Krakatoa in the late 19th century. The volcano is located in the Sunda Strait, South Lampung, on the southern tip of Sumatra.</p>

<p>Bandar Lampung has a Museum and Monument Eruption of Krakatoa.</p>
<p>Krakatoa Island</p>
<p>Krakatau is an inhabited island and is located in the southern Bay of Lampung. Krakatoa can be achieved in three hours by boat from Canti, a fishing village near Kalianda, South Lampung. Anak Krakatau (Child of Krakatau) is still growing, first emerged from the sea at the beginning of 1928, 45 years after the legendary eruption in 1883.</p>
<p>Krakatoa Island currently between three destinations in Indonesia who are qualified in the New 7 Wonders of Nature campaign organized by the New 7 Wonders Foundation (two other candidates, and Lake Toba and the Komodo National Park).</p>
<p>Archaeological Pugung</p>
<p>Archaeological sites Pugung in Pugung Raharjo village, 40 kms northeast of Bandar Lampung is a site megalith and prehistoric relics, as well as the classical Hindu-Buddhist period.</p>
<p>Peacock beach Belantung</p>
<p>Peacock Belantung Beach is 40 km south of Bandar Lampung, on the way to the port Bakauheni, this beach is ideal for swimming and wind surfing.</p>
