Another favorite place to visit is Pipa. It is one of the most famous and best beaches in Brazil. Pipa is located in the southern end of the coast of the State of Rio Grande do Norte. Along with highway BR-101, you can reach there for about about 90 km from Natal. If you driving all the way along the beach is possible only by buggy or a 4WD car, the distance is about 50 km.

When you stay at hotels in Natal, it is possible to take a day-trip to Pipa; some travel agents offer short trips to Pipa, by buggies or in vans.
