This is the story about the dragon. Not just a legend, but it is really a dragon that still inhabit the islands of eastern Indonesia and the middle. Giant reptiles of the world has a reputation as a top predator in its class.

Since the first Komodo island, the ranks of Flores Island, Indonesia, has emerged the story of a giant dragon. Many sailors who recounts that the dragon is more like a scary monster.

Large tail can knock down a buffalo with a single flick. Jaws were large and strong, to be able to swallow a wild pig in one motion. And from it’s mouth constantly spewing fire.

This story has circulated widely and could attract the attention of many people. But no one had ever dared to approach the island to prove it. Until finally in the early 1910s, came the report of the combat force the Dutch fleet, based in Flores about the mysterious creature allegedly “dragon” inhabit a small island in the Lesser Sunda Islands (now ranks of Flores Island, Nusa Tenggara).

Dutch military sailors gave a report that the creature is likely to be measuring up to seven meters long, with a giant body and mouth are constantly spewing fire. Lieutenant Steyn van Hensbroek, an official of the Dutch colonial administration in the region of Flores heard these reports and stories that surround the island of Komodo. He also planned a trip to Komodo Island.

After arming himself and took a team of trained soldiers, he landed on the island. After several days on the island, Hensbroek managed to kill a strange species.

He took him to headquarters and length measurements were taken that catch length about 2.1 meters. The shape is very much like a lizard. Animals were then photographed (documented) by Peter A Ouwens, director of the Zoological Museum and Botanical Gardens Bogor, Java. This is the first documentation of the dragons.

Ouwens interested in finding these strange animals. He then recruited a cunning hunter to capture specimens for him. The hunters managed to kill two dragons tail measuring 3.1 meters and 3.35 meters, plus the capture of two chicks, each measuring one meter below.

Based on the catch of the hunters, Ouwens conducted research and concluded that the Komodo dragon is not a flamethrower, but including the type of monitor lizard (monitor lizard) in the class of reptiles.

The results of this study later published in a newspaper published in 1912. In the news, Ouwens advise the name of the giant lizard Varanus komodoensis nickname instead of the Komodo Dragon (Komodo Dragon).

Realizing the significance of endangered species komodo, the Dutch government issued a regulation and protection of dragons and Komodo Island in 1915. Be region as the Komodo dragon conservation area.

Findings komodo dragon living legend, curious world. Several scientific expeditions from different countries take turns conducting research on Komodo Island.

Prehistoric Animals who Survived

After World War I, a scientific expedition designed to conduct research dragons. In 1926, the expedition led by W. Douglas Burden from the American Museum of Natural History with the most modern research tools, doing research for months.

The expedition which involves dozens of people were caught 27 animals dragons. They perform surgical anatomy and identification of species. From this first comprehensive scientific report on the Komodo dragon is made.

Described that the dragons have a large head and strong, has a pair of shining eyes, it skin was hard, thick and wiry. Having kelambir wrinkled skin under its neck.

The shape is similar to a lizard, with four big fat legs and tail are also a big fat long. Has 26 sharp teeth, each measuring 4 cm, has a forked tongue is bright red. If viewed from a distance, the tongue is extended to resemble a fire, because dragons are often stuck out his tongue like a snake.

Komodo also skilled hunters. It relies on the bite and poison the bacteria in his saliva to paralyze prey. It will follow prey that have been hurt for days, until finally died, then it ate it. As a carnivore and scavenger (scavengers), dragons are only found on the island of Komodo, Rinca, Padar, Gili Motang Owadi and Samiin. Komodo dragons are also known as a champion of animal swimming. That’s how he was doing exploration on the islands around Flores.
Fossil

Meanwhile, in the mid-20th century, in Australia discovered fossils of ancient creatures that once studied very similar to the dragons. Based on carbon test, the fossil was believed to have originated from the period 60-30 million years ago. This means that dragons once inhabited mainland Australia in prehistoric times.

But researchers are still puzzled by the relationship with the fossil Komodo dragons from Australia. Although the earth’s geological history indicates that the former Australia and some islands of Indonesia is one plate, but the Komodo Island is estimated to form about 1 million years ago.

While based on research, prehistoric dragons are extinct at least 30 million years ago, prior to Komodo Island is formed. So why dragons are found only on Komodo Island and its surroundings? Since when did inhabit the island of Komodo dragons? While it is never found traces of rawhide dragons elsewhere (except Australia). This is one mystery that demands further research.
Komodo Birth of Mother “Virgin”

Just 18 days ago, waiting zoologists at the zoo for Chester Zoo, Manchester, England, ended. A natural phenomenon that shocked the world of animal science. A female komodo dragons are still virgin, managed to lay eggs and hatch five of them.

Based on news reported by the Associated Press, Flora of the name-so-successful female dragons that gave birth to five baby dragons without the participation of the male inhabitants of the island of Komodo in the process of fertilization.

“Flora is very impressive, we were happy to know she is a mother and father of her babies,” said Kevin Buley, curator of the zoo for the type of vertebrates and invertebrates.

In mid-January 2007, the eggs begin to break after eight-month period containing the peak occurring on January 23, 2007, with the birth of five Komodo dragons. While the two other eggs still dieraminya.

“Application of the conservation breeding program is very unusual, because it opens new avenues, where the animals can potentially be a colony on an island,” Buley said.

“Females are able to swim across a new island, and then incubate the eggs, and then dating her male babies and sexually normal produce a new generation,” he added.

DNA tests provide accurate evidence that the truly successful Flora gave birth to her child without the help of males.

Mentioned again, the size of the dragon babies is between 16 inches (40 cm) up to 18 inches (45 cm) and weigh between 3 ½ – 4 ½ ounces (100-125 grams).

Eating Crickets and Grasshoppers

The five children descent Flora the Komodo dragon is born in good health and only eat crickets and grasshoppers as food diet. This is consistent with the original life of dragons in the wild.

Based on scientific knowledge, while growing up, baby-baby Komodo dragons can reach lengths of 10 feet (3 meters) and weighs about 300 pounds (135 kilograms). If achieving this extraordinary measure, they will be able to eat round a pig or deer.

Well, a savage appetite in reptiles this explains why Flora is not allowed to be near her children. “There was no maternal instinct at self-dragons. So, it is natural to keep their children away from their mothers. Its mother will try to eat anything that came in front of his nose, “said Buley.

According to the data, about 70 species of reptiles including snakes and lizards known to reproduce asexually (without the associated sex) in a process known scientifically as parthenogenesis. However, the conception of virginity (virginity) Flora and other komodo dragon in April at London Zoo is the first documented.

Two conceptions of virginity was announced in September, which stated in a scientific paper in the journal Nature.

The inhabitants of Komodo Island

Komodo dragons are native to islands of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. The island’s most lots occupied by dragons are named according to the name of this animal when found in 1910, namely the island of Komodo (Komodo Island).

These giant lizards, including the nearly extinct animal, with a population of less than 4,000 wild birds. To protect the Komodo dragon, in 1980 agreed to form a conservation area in the form of Komodo National Park on Komodo Island and small islands around it.

Distribution and population of dragons in the past three decades is declining and increasingly threatened its existence, mainly due to hunting deer, as its main prey. Even the population on the island of Padar known to have been lost since the late 1990s, whereas in the early 1980s, the Komodo dragon can still be found there. Attention and conservation of this species should be given in particular, because the population of dragons on the verge of extinction.

For some residents on the island of Komodo, these animals are considered more dangerous to humans than crocodiles, because the content of bacteria in their saliva that can cause severe infections.

Typically, dragons mating season occurs between June to July. In August, female dragons will dig a nest of birds nest mound former Coral (Megapodius Reindwardt) on the hill and nest hole in the ground, to keep their eggs which can reach 38 points. Eggs are usually guarded by its mother, but the new child born in February or March is not maintained, even frequently eaten.

Komodo dragons take five years to grow to the size of two feet and can live for up to 30 years. Entering the initial period of 4-5 years are sexually mature dragons.

The city with the feel of this beautiful and classic is the second largest city in Austria and is a provincial capital Steyrmark. Geographically, Austria’s borders with Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary that make this country as a blend of western and eastern European culture and make it attractive to be visited by foreign tourists.

Graz can be reached from another city easily and quickly through the air and ground transportation access for instance with a travel time of only three hours from Vienna, and four hours from the city of Venezia (Italy) by train or four-wheel vehicles. Entering the city of Graz from south westerly direction towards the center of town, on the right and left of the road can be found with a beautiful panorama of mountains and hills planted with vines which is famous for its quality up to foreign countries.

Stepping on the vineyard with golden yellow leaves and fruits are beginning to mature while inhaling the fresh mountain air, adding a sense of touch and natural unification of the cool and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and air pollution. The vineyard is also a place where tourism is in great demand by the tourists in the summer.

Towards the center of town, can be found magnificent building and a symbol of Graz city government called the Town Hall which has a wide field area is located right in front of him. This building was built in the 16th century and later renovated by the famous architect Graz, Wielemans and Reuter in the 19th century in line with population growth in a fairly large city of Graz on that era in line with the role and function of government is the greater.

The main ornament is then simplify Town Hall in the 20th century while maintaining the existence of art and culture of Austria. Until now, this building still functioned as a government office city of Graz and also doubles as a civil registry office where the bridal couple in the town confirmed the marriage bond.

In the midst of a large area in front of Town Hall called this Hauptplatz, seen a large human monument stood firm that is a statue of Archduke Johann Styrian prince who lived during the 17th century.

This monument was specifically awarded to him and also serve as a symbol of the start of economic development in the city of Graz. Four female statues are located at four corner points of this large monument marks the four rivers which flow through the city of Graz, the Mur, Enns, Drava and Sann who is a border territory in the days of glory. Over time, this monument was redesigned by an architect famous Austrian, Markus Pernthaler in 2002.

Hauptplatz itself in ancient times used as a traditional market that sells farm products such as milk, meat, fruit, cheese, and oil from pumpkin seeds. Until now, Hauptlatz still serve as a night market activities, carnival, arts and entertainment that are still in demand by residents of this city, especially in summer.

Seen a row of beautiful buildings around Hauptlatz which until now remains to serve as a shopping and business center, a moment’s eyes stopped on a small street named Sporgasse long located between the old buildings with the architects of high quality and elegant style walls add to the beauty along the This small road, which is also a connecting road between the river valley Hauptlatz with myrrh.

At first glance the building looks old is not old, but the actual age of this building is more than one hundred years. Goldene Pastete is one of the oldest buildings in the city of Graz with an interesting corner of the building architect of the era heyday Reinassance and is located on the right side of the road Sporgasse. Until now the building that used to be a restaurant typical Austrian cuisine is still preserved by the government while maintaining the authenticity of Graz with a red brick wall color and window ornament color combinations of white and green traditional nuances.

It’s not many universities in the world could become a tourist attraction like Oxford. Oxford’s main attraction comes from the ability of the British Government take care of every detail of buildings and urban planning as well as the state hundreds years ago. So, every day thousands of tourists come to see wards and lecture rooms there while enjoying the sensation of learning time.

Moreover, since the Harry Potter films using the university as place of shooting, visitors to Oxford increase Harry Potter teen devotee. Places Hogwart magic school shooting is part of Christ Church in Oxford.

Perhaps the Oxford portrait is a whole portrait of England, that is able to maintain a good condition until hundreds or even thousands of years.

In London, basement bar in central London is believed that It have been there since the fifteenth century. Wooden chair in it so thick and heavy, while the gloomy atmosphere that is truly separates us from the reality of the modern world ablaze in the Mayfair area.

Tour to the UK is enjoying the course progress of the age. City of London, that looked so old, does not even need to do anything else when being used for filming scenes magic market on Diagon Alley Harry Potter films.

The best audio sound systems technology one of them come from London via a variety of top brands, as well as high-tech precision Rolls Royce cars. Then also see large groups of the world that well known, among others through London like the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Genesis, Camel, Queen, The Who, to Elton John.

So, if you travel to England, you should enjoy the London Wheel (TLW). Electrical giant windmill on the River Thames is like a metaphor for the state truly British.

TLW made with very high technology, with enhanced capabilities for steel, but standing side by side with the oldest parts of London. TLW can be seen clearly from the top of the parliament building, the tower of Big Ben, even airplanes coming and going in the world’s busiest airport, Heathrow.

We are also able to retreat to prehistoric times in England. Go to Salisbury, about 150 kilometers northwest of London. In addition to Salisbury Cathedral to see which stores copies of the Magna Charta of the thirteenth century, a tourist destination that should not be missed is The Stonehenge, the ancient astronomical sites is still crisscrossing its history until now.

Magna Charta has already a historical record of the world, not just English anymore. The document was approved in 1215 King John this is an agreement with the Pope (at that time England was still under the subjection of Rome as a Catholic), that the king’s absolute power should be limited. Magna Charta can be said is a record of respect for the rights of the public and law enforcement to the top.

On the southeastern edge of London we are able to visit Greenwich, the town is the reference time in the world. There, a line of stainless steel in the ground which extends into a bookmark that is zero degrees longitude world. Remember when the world? Remember the GMT time. Greenwich Mean Time.

Marakesh is very rich by historical relic, because in the 11th century. Marakesh becomes the capital of the Kingdom of Maghribi Almoravids. An Arab-Berber dynasty (North African) who had gave birth to the rulers of Andalusia (Spain) when it was under Muslim rule (750-1492).

Traces of past glory Almoravids, still looking at the traditional markets that highlight the cultural nuances of the Berbers, the stalls selling sweets typical of the Atlas Mountains, where the buildings make pottery “ceramic blue” highly admired by fans of trinkets home decoration, gate- city gates equipped with solid iron doors, the towers made from red brick and a half orange.

Old buildings are still preserved intact, including along the mosque jami Kutubia Tower, an old gate Babul Aquino, Souqul Madina (city market). Tourism bureaus in Rabat or Casablanca Marakesh as always promote the Arab cultural arts center typical North African Berbers which still survive the onslaught of modernization.

In “Souqul Madina” for instance, there are many style metal jewelry of gold, platinum, bronze, brass, and copper, became an icon souvenirs. Also perfume packaged in unique containers Interestingly, both glass bottles and ceramic, natural perfume smell that comes from flowers, grass or leaves and woody native Atlas Mountains.

Crowded market mood does not felt thanks to a light breeze from the holes in the roof height. Plus tinkling mandolin and lute, sing songs to accompany the desert.

If by chance we are in Marakesh during the fasting month, in a large field, or plaza near Kutubia Mosque, the largest Jami mosque in Marakesh, where pedestrians, street vendors, as well as the renderer for a variety of attractions, gathered up state of frenzy.

Shouts a voice, chat, songs, mingled with a variety of wasp musical accompaniment variety show. There is magic, acrobats, clowns, and more. Everything is interesting to watch, while waiting for the azan evening come.

The renderer attraction “folk art”, not just natives Marakesh, or came from other cities in Morocco, such as Rabat, or Casablanca. But also from abroad. Among others, Senegal, Mauritania, Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria. Anyway multi ethnic and multi nation. The most attention is a magician. Using a cotton rope, rattan, live cobras and black cloth-covered wooden box.

If the sun set, boisterous event that suddenly quiet. Marakesh square becomes empty because all the people flocked to mosques Kutibia, to go eat a meal futures (tajil) parties, such as water mixed with powdered tea “kardamon” (kapol) and half-ripe fruit fresh dates.

After evening prayers, breaking a new staple food which is “couscous” a kind of crisps made from corn, dipped in gravy curry goat or camel meat is tasty greasy. This main menu, accompanied by the “kebab” keratan shaped like skewers of meat stabbed.

Ingredients made from peanuts collision, thick soy sauce, lime juice. Also provided the yogurt mixed sliced tomatoes and onions, if kebabs lovers want the other flavors and tastes.

Come by and take a break in Marakesh, it has its own impression, the impression we get is not easy and we forget all our lives. Especially for those tourists who just passed last night for two nights in the ancient city full of history.

Visit to Germany is not complete prior to visiting and seeing the beauty of the Heidelberg Castle. This magnificent palace is a symbol of the country’s history, located in the Neckar Valley. Therefore do not be surprised if the historic building that has always been a source of inspiration scenario writers, or filmmakers, and writers. Inspired by ancient buildings, therefore, the big movies or an interesting article about the background, even romance romance by taking a castle setting.

Everyone when entering the complex, awe immediately alighted on our feelings. Grand stand, amid hedge trees arranged beautifully, in the mind of thought on the Harry Potter films, with a background of fantasy castles. Typical castle and church buildings that you can find in almost every mainland European countries, often to impress people who see it.

Governments in Europe seem to really appreciate historical monuments there. Evident not only in Germany, almost in all countries in Europe, ancient castles and churches, still standing as originally preserved condition, and sold as assets of state tourism. Although allowed to stand as it is, it does not mean the government does not care. Maintenance and cleanliness of the building continues to be done, even with the latest technology. All for the sake of maintaining the building from destruction because it encroached on the age.

In the former building of the castle Electors Palatine, there are some which looked devastated. According to some sources, the destruction of the fort at once the palace of high architectural value that occurred during the war with France. And the government still allow debris into a spectacle of visitors. As historical evidence, that there never be war between the two countries led by the king. The establishment of the castle are also determined as the anniversary of the city of Heidelberg. Documents found in the city was the first time in 1196 and in 1225 was known by the name of Heidelberg.

Although much has been destroyed, but some are still standing proudly. And until now, the remaining buildings are still preserved castles. Buildings that are destroyed deliberately ignored, as historical evidence, that the place is never going to war and the takeover of power. Yet if the German government would rebuild the ruined castle to stand as before, or could have done to change shapes. But for the sake of history, the government thinks, the reconstruction of destroyed buildings is not deemed necessary.

Heidelberg Castle is one of the many attractions in Germany’s most well known. Within a year of no less two million tourists visited the place. Heidelberg entered the region of Baden Wuerttemberg. To reach the castle of Heidelberg, you need to go through 303 steps. Because of cool weather, when the number of hundreds that can not feel heavy.

Besides the castle, the city is known also as a producer of high-quality printing. Almost every years, practitioners gathered in this city print to see the exhibition advanced printing machines. Followers not only come from Germany, but from countries producing these machines.

Having fallen from the castle, never took a perfect if not stopped by an old bridge near Bismarckplatz. From under the bridge, the Castle looks elegant. Others in the German resort town that offers the charm of “conservatism” is Leipzig. When East Germany is different from the government, the city is among the most reliable as a tourist center.

Located along the river Auer, Leipzig is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. The city is saved from destruction in World War I. After the Berlin wall collapsed, Leipzig has become the city’s most interesting cultural history and a place visited by many tourists. Johann Wolfgang Goethe, German poet major, called the Leipzig as “Little Paris”. It can not be separated from the beauty of the town which is almost the same with the city of Paris.

Visiting the “Little Paris” means the compulsory visit Nikolaikirche Church (St. Nikholas). The oldest and largest church in Leipzig. The building is increasingly a worldwide since 1989, when used as the starting “Peace Revolution”, between West and East Germany.

Almost all major cities in Australia have a beautiful park and clean. The ultimate goal of course for the greening and the lungs of the city. However, many activities that can be done there, ranging from exercise, rest breaks while enjoying food in the office and school activities, and hanging out with family and friends while enjoying a barbeque. The latter is very well liked in Australia.

One of the most visited park is Kings Park. Beautiful park with around 400 hectares is located on the western edge of Perth, not far from the Central Business District (CBD), aka the business center of Western Australia. The park consists of grass, botanical gardens, and natural herbs from the mountains of Eliza. Aside from being a major tourist attraction places in Perth, in the vast park is also found State War Memorial, the tennis courts of The Royal Kings Park Tennis Club, and the reservoir (water storage reserves). At the State War Memorial in writing all the names of the heroes of Western Australia who joined the Boer War, World War I and II, the Korean War, and in Vietnam.

The park is the first time it was opened August 10, 1895 formerly known as Perth Park and was renamed in 1901 as a memorial to the rise of King Edward VIII his throne as king of the British Empire, as well as respect for the visit of George as Duke of Cornwall and Queen Mary to Perth. The daughter later gave the name of one main road that May Drive. While the Royal King’s Park Tennis Club was founded in 1898 and is home Davis Cup race. Currently the field is composed of 28 field grass (grass court) and 3 hard court (hard court)

The main park road that May Drive, Lovekin Drive, and the Marri Walk known as the Honour Avenue because eucalypt trees planted around the edges (a type of acacia tree) and on each tree there is a plaque tribute to the heroes of World War I and II, which comes from Australia . On the plaque is written the name of a war hero, age at death, place of war, and representatives of families who planted these trees. Overall, there are 1100 trees along with his plaque.

The huge garden at an altitude area, so from there we can look at the beauty of Perth along the Swan River it. What is clear, every September and October, there are always organized exhibitions and performances wildflower (wildflowers), the largest in Australia.

What seemed unusual was built Bali Memorial in Kings Park. The monument is in remembrance of the death of 16 people who became victims of Western Australia October 12, 2002 Bali bombings. The monument looks simple, but actually formed from the 2 axis. The first axis shows the direction of the rising sun on October 12, and the second axis leads to an Australian flag flying in the distance, to the Swan River and Darling Ranges.

At Kings Park there is also an area of 18 hectares of gardens Kingdom, known as the Botanical Garden with Western Australia 2000 Western Australia’s unique plant species. Garden was designed John Oldham, a landscape architect at the time, in preparation for the holding of the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1962.

There are also Lotterywest Federation Walkway bridge which has a high and long so that when we cross it as if walking through the trees, listening to chirping birds flying in the vicinity. There are also several groups of small parks, such as Acacia garden with a unique stairs because mounted mosaic patterned acacia plants, Banksia garden which is the Australian native plants, water garden, and others. There is one interesting buildings, namely the DNA tower. That represents two series of stairs to the top of the fruit as an illustration 110 DNA chain genes for traits in living things.

Before leaving the Kings Park, Indonesian tourists is generally not satisfied if you do not shop or simply wash your eyes at Aspects of Kings Park. There we can find a variety of accessories, clothing, household equipment, as well as mementoes of fruit Australian artists. If the price, do not ask, would drain enough pockets. Besides being a weak dollar compared to the Australian dollar, all goods sold are made by Australian native.

Another garden can be enjoyed is Queens Park, Sterling Garden, Supreme Court Gardens, Burswood Park, Central Park. The last park you should visit is the Victoria Park. An area of 17 hectares in the Northeast CBD is also on the side of the Swan River, and before European settlement, is an area of bushes that is not maintained. From there we can see the beauty of the City of Perth, including these great buildings at the Burswood Casino Burswood Park. So many parks in Perth. So much mistaken if the town could we nicknamed “city of a thousand garden.”

Temple seems to be a part that can not be separated for the birth of the Indonesian culture. Every inch of carved stone temple has its own story, until finally creating so many legends about the history or past life of this country.

The existence of many temples scattered in the country is actually built as a place of public worship at that time embraced the Hindu or Buddhist beliefs. However, not only a place of worship for the gods, but also there are several temples built as a palace, monastery, gate, to the bathhouse. No exception, the temple was built to honor the king who had died.

Construction of a temple is not arbitrary, but based on the terms and conditions originating from the book Vastusastra or Silpasastra.

One part of the book is Vastusastra from Manasara South India contains the standards to make the temple and all its components. In fact, including architectural design profane, form cities, villages, fortresses, temples placement in cities or villages complex, and many more.

Some of the requirements to build the temple also became an important part contained in the book. One condition is the sacred building should be erected near water, such as river water (mainly near the confluence of two rivers, lakes, sea), even if there is no river water should be made of artificial pond or put a vase of water near the entrance of the shrine it. In addition to near the water, the best place to establish a temple which is at the top of the hill, on a mountainside, in the forest and the valley.

These provisions also apply to Borobudur Temple. Temple is the pride of Indonesia, located near the confluence of the Elo and the Progo River, in the village of Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java.

Grandeur and beauty of this temple has been heard at the international world. In fact, had become part of the Seven Wonders of the World a few years ago.

The temple has 1460 relief panels and 504 Buddha was built by King Samaratungga in the era of Old Mataram Kingdom, the work completed in the year 824 AD. Places of worship are shaped berundak punden consisting of ten levels.

Levels in Borobudur interpreted as stages of human life. Starting from a bound man with a passion or Kamadhatu. Then, Rupadhatu, the man has been free from lust but, still tied to appearance and shape. Then, there are levels of human meaning Arupadhatu been freed from lust, appearance and shape. Until finally, to the highest level, Arupa, none other than Nirvana, where Buddha is residing.

Another case with the Prambanan temple. Hindu temple was built by two kings, and Rakai Rakai Pikatan Balitung of the 10th century. Located 17 kilometers from the center of Yogyakarta, this beautiful building has three main temples on the first page, the temple of Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva.

Each main temple has accompanying temple facing to the west, namely Nandini for Shiva, Swan to Brahma, and Garuda for Vishnu. In addition, there are two Apit temples, four color and four Temple Temple Angle. Meanwhile, the second page had 224 temples.

Behind the beauty of Prambanan stored legend is well known by the community, namely the story of Roro Jonggrang loved by Bandung Bondowoso. However, because Roro Jonggrang not love him, so he ordered Bandung Bondowoso a thousand temples overnight. Unfortunately, when the temples numbered 999, Roro Jonggrang asked the villagers to pound rice and make a big fire, until Bandung Bondowoso feel cheated, and cursed Roro Jonggrang to stone, as we see now.

Moved to West Java, there Cangkuang Temple. Temple is located on a small island, which is a lake named ditengahnya Cangkuang, Kampung Pulo, Leles subdistrict, Garut, West Java. Cangkuang Temple is a temple was first discovered in West Java and the only Hindu temple, around the 8th century AD, who was in the Land Pasundan.

Discovered in 1966 by researchers, and Uka Harsoyo Candrasasmita, after discovery of Vorderman report in 1893. Rectangular building, on the left side of the viewer or where there are stairs going up and on the north side is the entrance.

Beside of this there is a statue with a broken-down condition, flat face, the hands until the wrist was lost. Overall, the authenticity of Cangkuang only remaining temple of about thirty-five percent, which is now just a reconstruction engineering.
