People like telling me that they are really fond of traveling and this is usually sounds ridiculous as they have never even been abroad. Actually the United States present the unlimited number of opportunites to travel from state to state and enjoy new landscapes, meet new people and so on. But the thing is that we may call it just moving as they do not cross the country borders and they do not change the climate, they do not have the opportunity to taste local food. So you’ve got the point. Definitely you may say that in the USA you can find practically any culture presented in so called special areas but this is not completely true. To find what India is like you need to visit this country and if you want to get acquainted with Russian traditions and customs you need to get a Russian entry visa and fly to this country. There is no replacement here in the States. I’m a traveler myself and when I need to find out more about the country I first of all study the tourist’s guide to find the places I want visit, the sights I want to discover and what is worth taking photos.
